13 December 2020, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Following extensive consultation with key partners, exhibitors and stakeholders, the World Future Energy Summit has announced that its April 2021 face to face event will now be re-scheduled to 17-19 January 2022 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Following the guidance from our community and stakeholders, the UAE health authorities and the instruction from the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism that no events should take place until further notice in the Emirate, the decision has now been taken to move the event from its planned date.
Reed Exhibitions, global organiser of the World Future Energy Summit, sincerely regret the inconvenience that this change may cause and are grateful to all our customers and partners for their ongoing support and constructive input.
During January 2021, the World Future Energy Summit will launch a dedicated industry webinar series, hosted by Masdar, as part of the virtual Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The webinars will cover the following essential topics:
- The New Energy Economy
- Restoring Focus on a Circular Economy
- Stimulating Economies: Low Carbon is ‘Business as Usual’
- Decarbonising GCC Water Networks
Alongside the World Future Energy Summit Webinar Series, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week will feature a series of high-level virtual events, including the ADSW Summit, the IRENA General Assembly, the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum and the Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum.
The return of the World Future Energy Summit, hosted by Masdar in January 2022, will be even more important than any previous edition as it continues its central role in supporting business growth in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors, as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
The World Future Energy Summit team and host Masdar look forward to welcoming back the 840 exhibitors and 34,000 visitors who attend annually and are a vital component to the ongoing success of this global platform for business, innovation and knowledge exchange.
Further details regarding the 2022 exhibition and forums will be announced as they are confirmed. For further information and any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Grant Tuchten, Group Event Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
