Hisham has been the President & CEO of GE in Saudi Arabia & Bahrain since 2012. In this role Hisham has been a driving force behind a number of defining initiatives that includes launching GE’s first local manufacturing of gas turbines and pressure control equipment in the Kingdom; pioneering the Kingdom’s services industry by establishing the first all-female business processing center, creating 900+ jobs for Saudi women with over 80% Saudization; and establishing the Kingdom as a global hub for R&D with the inauguration of what is now GE’s Saudi Technology & Innovation Center in Dhahran Techno Valley.
His vision is for GE to be the best-in-class partner and contributor to the economic and social transformation of the Kingdom as per the goals defined by Saudi Vision 2030.
Hisham joined GE in 1997 in Power Systems, and in 2009 became President & CEO of GE Energy for Saudi Arabia.
A Saudi national, Hisham holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (1990), and a Master’s degree in Electronic Technology (1994) from King Saud University, Riyadh.
