Helle Kristoffersen joined Total in January 2011 and was appointed Senior Vice President, Strategy & Business Intelligence at the Group level on January 1, 2012. She moved to her current role in the GRP segment on September 1, 2016.
She began her career in 1989 at investment bank Lazard Frères. In 1991, she moved to the Groupe Bolloré.
In 1994, she joined Alcatel, where she spent 16 years and served in particular as Vice President Corporate Strategy of Alcatel and subsequently Alcatel-Lucent.
Ms. Kristoffersen was elected to the Board of Directors of Orange in 2011 and to the Supervisory Board of PSA Group (Peugeot) in 2016. Prior to that, she served as a Board member of Valeo from 2007 to 2013.
A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Paris Graduate School of Economics, Statistics and Finance (ENSAE), Ms. Kristoffersen also holds a master's degree in econometrics from Université Paris 1 and is an alumna of the French Institute for Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN).
She has been awarded the medal of Chevalier of the French Légion d’Honneur.
