WFES Country Partner - Focus on Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has plans for 9.5GW of renewable energy by 2023, with 3.45GW of capacity commissioned by 2020.

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is the MENA and South Asia region’s leading commercial event for the renewable energy industry and is expected to see strong interest in Saudi business opportunities when the event opens as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week on January 16, 2017. Investors will be looking for further detail on Saudi Arabia’s proposed business case for the private sector. The KSA Vision 2030 statement includes an endorsement of public-private partnerships, and a commitment to guarantee the competitiveness of renewable energy through the gradual liberalization of the fuels market.

Highlights include: Dedicated Saudi Arabia Pavilion, "Focus on KSA" Conference Session.
